Tha BossMack TopSoil went to check out "This Is It" this weekend, Then I had to make sure I copped tha Bootleg. Micheal Jackson was a Raw Muthafucka period dot. You know through tha years I never really evaluated Mike's live stage show, I only saw that Motown 25 Special back in tha days and that was it. I guess I was to small to be copping tickects to a Jackson's Concert and I know I didn't want to sit in tha nose bleed section at Dodger Stadium back in tha days to see so toothpicks dancing.
I had no true understanding of Mike.
When Micheal Jackson died, tha Bootleg Movie Dude I fucks wit told me to cop tha "Micheal Jackson Live @ Bucharest" so I did, reluctantly. When I watched that video I soon realized Mike was a Raw Muthafucka, I had no Idea. Then I began to wonder why this Nigga never really toured America? I thought maybe those other countries were willing to pay that nigga more, which he deserved. I will say this, there was a major difference in his skill levels between tha Motown 25 and that Bucharest Show. That nigga seemed to me like he was on tha level of a professional athlete.
Now fast forward to tha "This Is It" Show. When I heard Mike was coming back, I was thinking about Motown 25 and tha impossibility of him reproducing that performance, I still hadn't seen that Bucharest Show. Oh and that Bucharest Show was in 1993 I think. Between that Bucharest Show and "This Is It" some how that Nigga Micheal got better, At 50 Years old this Nigga was still tha GREATEST performer on this Planet. I Checked "This Is It" and this Nigga was at his highest level, this niggas body seemed like he was 20 years old. I thought Micheal was bullshitting all these years, I guess that nigga must have been practicing.
Alot of Bitches I know argue that Chris Brown is tha only one that can carry on for Mike, Thats Bullshit. Chris Brown cannot on any level Fuck with Mike. If there was ever a battle of who's tha Tightest, Mike would have crushed every Nigga you can think of.
"This Is It" is a must watch. BossBrizzle broke down and cried at tha end, I had to play it off and look around.

Hmmm Daaamn...Top$$izzle...Like that on the real huh?I always appreciated Mike...But I guess I wasnt really knowin...I guess I might have to check that out with My nephew this weekend,since its his birthday.He been really gettin into Mike within the past couple months...

Maybe it's just me but there are two things about Mike's music that bother me. I was pumping some tunes outside this past weekend, as I shot baskets in the backyard, and had to keep it clean so selected the "soul/disco" mix on the Ipod rather than the "rap" mix. You know I still prefer the latter. Anyway, lots of Michael Jackson songs on that mix but I can't help thinking of two things; stigmas if you will to listening to his music. 1) It was dorky to listen to his music from about 1981 on. Off the Wall is still one of the best alumbs ever but after that he was just straight POP and it was dorky. Nobody "cool" admitted to listening to him in the 80's. You know I was not bumping MJ back in the dorms up in RP! 2) The stigma of whatever he did with the kids. I suppose he was not found guilty in a court of law but there was enough evidence to prosecute. Ok, and 3) The dude became a little bit of a freak show. With all that said, I will keep listening, and I will probably check the flick out too, but it always makes me pause to hear his music and the pause is just a bit of a negative.

I'll cosign that. Mike was on the money in This is It. Chris Brown, Usher and whoever else want to try for the crown better bring a lunch and they just might learn something.
i think the only person that can cum close to him is MC HAMMER back in the day those two was going to have a dance off that hammer call him out on it but...mike was like i'll burn you.... hammer went broke and his mind wasnt right for it....but mike would have kicked his ass ...he had to many bag of trick's ....chris tucker can dance just like mike even eddie griffin got him on point ...chris brown will never EVER come close...

that movie SUCKED!.michael jackson was cool around 1983 but thats it.i'd dance like a boy at 50years old too if i had highpowered meds pumping thru my veins.and mj havent performed in the united states since jimmy carter was president.mike must have forgotten that we had bought his albums to.i understand a nigga is rich and a big time celebrity,an icon,and most of us grew up on his music,and the entire world knows mj an whatnot,but at the end of the day,i dont pay homage to niggas who convinced that their better than me.even if i never met him,i know that he knows hes better than me.i just couldnt get into the movie because michael wasn't appealing no more.you would had to been high and sensitive by nature to enjoy that movie.
chris brown can't dance nothing like michael.chris has big,wide, long,stiff bones like a biracial female.so hes not even structuraly built to tap into mikes rhythm.theres nobody who can match mikes dancing skills.that person hasn't even been born yet.

@SacTownGuy - Lol, I can't lie peoples, I played shit off tha "Bad" album. I also fucked with "Dangerous" when he fucked with Teddy Riley. Then I can't front on a few cuts on "Invincible", that cut that Marsha Ambrosious wrote "Butterflies" was a tight cut. Now as far as Mike's vids, tha last one I fucked with was "Remember The Time" and that was only because a few niggas from tha Pharcyde danced in that.
I admit, I thought Mike was a strange muthafucka, no doubt. On tha flipside though, Mike was a master of his craft and thats what I'm giving him love for. As always I appreciate tha contribution.

The first concert I ever say at 8 or 9 years old 5th room was MJ and it changed my whole life..

Micheal jackson is the shit. Every now and then I bump some of his music and wacthing his live performances on utube. Like you said Boss mack nobody can never mess with micheal on live stage performances ; he was a beast , straight up killing it.
